    How to  alter  registration details?

A. Access the JOBSABODE Home Page.

Enter your Username and Password in the ' JOBSABODE User Login' box. After getting into inbox, make changes under profile maintenance select the section you want to make changes in.

Click on Save and Continue  to save the changes.

 Q. My email ID has changed. What should I do?

A. Refer to 'How do I change my registration details?' for instructions on updating your email address.

Alternatively you may simply re-register your details with JOBSABODE and select a new username. Don't forget to unsubscribe your old registration first.

Q.Forgot  password?

If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot Password on the Home Page  for immediate assistance.

Q. How do I cancel my registration with JOBSABODE?

A. To cancel registration, just email to cancel@jobsabode.com with 'Cancel my registration with Jobsabode' as the subject . Please include the username for your account in the body of the email.

Q. Why should I register?

A. Registration allows you to take advantage of free features such as JOBSABODE Job Mail alerts, Apply for Jobs, Resume Builder and to be a part of our huge database.

Q. Do I need to register to use JOBSABODE?

A. No. You can search for job vacancies and browse articles without registering.

Q. What is your privacy policy?

A.Jobsabode respects the right to confidentiality of a job seeker and guarantees that no personal details and current employment details will be visible to anyone unless the job seeker specifies so.

Q. How is confidentiality maintained?

A.Corporates looking for suitable candidates only get to see a filtered set of specific information like - Qualification, Skill set and interest areas of the candidate. Apart from this you can block and unblock your resume..

Q. What is the source of job postings?

A. The jobs posted on the site come from various magazines, newspapers, HR Consultants and Corporates who have registered with CareerAge.

Q. How does one become a member?

A.You just need to fill a simple form on the site to become a member. We will send your user id and password by e-mail.

Problems using Jobsabode.Com 

Q. I have entered my username and password, but the page simply refreshes ?

You need to check that Cookies are enabled. If cookies are enabled on your browser, confirm your Username and Password are correct.

Q. I can't view all my job search results or job ad details?

Personal Security settings may be blocking a portion of the page. Check that you have scripting enabled on your browser and that any security software installed has the correct preferences nominated.

Q.I receive a time error when applying online?

Your resume may be too large to complete transfer - these settings cannot be attuned. Removing any scanned images to reduce overall size of your resume may help. A faster internet connection may be required.

Q. I've edited my Job Mail but continue to receive incorrect jobs?

Check that you haven't accidentally created another registration with JOBSABODE. In some cases, the other Job Mail profiles may be sending jobs according to a past selection. You can check all of your registration details.

Q. I've created a Job Mail profile but haven't received any jobs yet?

Some ISP's block JOBSABODE 's Job Mail before it's received by you. To remedy this, try using another email address for JOBSABODE Job Mail - is a free email service recommended by JOBSABODE.

Finding a Job on Jobsabode

Q. How do I search for a job on JOBSABODE?

A. Select the appropriate JOBSABODE zone such as JOBSABODE Top Executive or IT . Click on Job Search from the navigation bar at the top of the page. After making appropriate selections according to your preferences, click on the 'Search' button.

Your job results will be displayed in order of dates. For a more detailed description of each role, click on the job ad title.

Note: You may choose to nominate additional search criteria in the 'Keywords' field.

Q. When will you be updating the classifications next?

A. We will be continously monitoring the performance of the classifications on the website and reply to your feedback. Please inform us if you have any suggestions regarding the new classifications.

Q. What does 'Search Jobs' do?

'View Jobs' lists the vacancies matching your profile with Jobsabode.

Q.How often does Jobsabode update your job postings?

New jobs are Continuously updated. Jobs remain on site until they reach their  expiry date or they are removed by the advertiser.

Q.When and how often is Job alert sent?

Job alerts are sent when vacancies matching your profile are advertised. This may be daily or less frequently depending on the profile you created. Job Mail cannot be restricted to send on a weekly basis.

Q. How do I change my Job Mail profile?

A. Select ' JOBSABODE ' from the navigation bar at the top of the page.

Enter your Username and Password in the ' JOBSABODE User Login box'.

Select the title of the Job Mail profile you wish to edit in the 'My Job Mail' box.

Make appropriate changes and select "Go".

Q.I signed up for Job Mail but I never received any?

Check your profile to confirm your email address has been entered correctly (refer to the 'How do I change my Job Mail profile?' section in this document). Alternatively, try adjusting your search preferences to something less specific.

A. Try making your search preferences more specific. For example, if you have already specified a Location, Industry and Occupation, try editing your Job Mail profile to include a Keyword.

 Q.Why should I create a resume with JOBSABODE?

JOBSABODE 's Resume Builder helps arrange your work experience into an effective format as preferred by the Employers.

Q.How do I edit my JOBSABODE Resume?

Visit My JOBSABODE and login with your JOBSABODE Username and Password.

In the section titled "My Resumes" will be a list of resumes that you have saved. Click on the title of the resume you wish to edit.

Make appropriate changes and then select "Save and Continue".

 Q. Can I send my JOBSABODE Resume to an employer not listed with JOBSABODE?

You can email your JOBSABODE resume to anyone.

In Internet Explorer, pull down the browser 'File' menu and select "Send (Page by email)".

Q. How do I review a resume opportunity?

Login to your My JOBSABODE account and select 'View the Opportunity'.

Confirm or Decline your interest in the position. Your preference will be communicated to the advertiser.

Note: If your resume is currently Anonymous, selecting 'Confirm' will make your contact details and current employer available to this Advertiser only. If your resume is currently Anonymous, selecting 'Decline' will keep your contact details and current employer anonymous to all Advertisers.

 Job Applications 

Q.How can I have my contact details and cover letter filled in automatically?

Visit My JOBSABODE and login with your JOBSABODE Username and Password.

Select 'Registration Details'.

Complete all fields and click on 'GO' to save the changes.

Remember to login to My JOBSABODE before applying so JOBSABODE can populate your details.

 Q.How do I attach my resume from my hard drive?

To attach a resume, select the 'Browse' button in Step 2 of the application page.

Locate and select your resume from your personal files.

Click 'Open' to attach the resume.

Q. How long will it take to get a response once I apply?

You will be get email in response from the advertiser directly after applying for a position, confirming your email was received. If a confirmation email isn't received, you may wish to approach the advertiser directly if they have provided contact details in  advertisement.

Q.I want to contact the advertiser but can't find their phone number?

If an Employer hasn't included contact details in the advertisement, (JOBSABODE cannot disclose contact details due to privacy commitment).

Q.I have been offered an interview but the advertiser has removed their job ad?

Once a job ad has been removed from the site, it is stored in the advertisers archive records. To obtain a copy of the job ad details, you will need to contact the advertiser.

If you are registered with JOBSABODE and logged in prior to applying, you may have retained a copy of the ad in your Inbox

Q.Why should I register?

You need to register your business to access any of the services we provide: free job posting, resume database access, and inclusion of your Companies name and Logo on our home page Key Employers Section or Name of your company in current employers Section. Q. How much does it cost?

A. Nothing. Creating a new account and job posting is totally free of charge, and you will be able to start using our free services straight away. For value added we charge a very reasonable price. Kindly go through our tariff card for details.  

Q. I have registered my business details, but they are not listed in your employer directory, why?

A. The employer directory is updated every 2-5 days. Your business details will not appear until this happens.

Q. I can't remember my password ?

A. If you forgot password, please click on forgot password option in login box .

Q. I can't remember my username, can you send me a reminder?

A. Please contact us regarding this .

Q. Can I change the password ?

A. Yes. To change your password, please go to the Employer’s section and click on the Change password  option in the menu.

Q. Can I change my username?

A. No, that's not possible. If you want a new username you will need to delete your account and open a new one with the new username.

Q. I'd like to change some of the information shown in my business profile page, where do I go?

A. To change your business details, please go to the Employer Registration Section and click on the Edit option in the menu.

Q. I want to be registered, but I don't want my business details listed in your directory, is this possible?

A. yes, it is possible. Please write to us regarding this.

Q. I'd like to add my logo to my business profile page and vacancies, where do I go?

A. If you want to upload your logo, please contact us along with details to the following mail ID biz@jobsabode.com

Q. I would like to delete my account, is it possible?

Q. I'd like to advertise some of my vacancies, how much does it cost?

A. Nothing, it's free of charge.

Q. How many jobs can I advertise for free?

A. As many as you want.

Q. What do I have to do to be able to advertise my vacancies on your site?

A. First, you need to register your business to create an account. Pl mail us to the following mail Id contact@jobsabode.com

Q. How long will it take for my vacancies to be reviewed and appear on your site?

A. It will take about 24-48 hours for your vacancies to be shown on the site.

Q. For how long will my vacancies remain advertised?

A. It's totally up to you. We will remove any vacancy after three months, but you can remove it before that, or renew it for another three months.

Q. How do I know who has replied to my adverts?

A. Your contact details will be shown in every job you advertise, so that job-seekers will contact you directly, and not through us. You can specify how you want to be contacted, or what to do to apply for the job.

Q. I'd like to advertise several positions, but I'd like my business name to appear as "confidential", is this possible?

A. Yes, it's possible.
